Jeanneret bring us wines that are generous in flavour and quality made to be enjoyed by family and friends. Ben Jeanneret, chief winemaker and his family established the vineyards in 1992 and the Cellar Door was opened 2 years later.
Ben is the ultimate freestyler, unrestrained by rules and not afraid to attempt the new and different. In addition to the estate grown vineyards Jeanneret source fruit from an additional 20 hectares of hand pruned, hand picked, dry grown vines spread throughout the picturesque Clare Valley. Encompassing the usual Clare suspects of Riesling, Shiraz, Grenache and some Malbec and Cabernet.
Over the past decade Ben has perfected his art and is regarded as one of the leading winemakers in the Clare Valley and has been named one of the “Ten Dark Horses” and a “Five Star Winery” by James Halliday.
